If you're not familiar with the concept, Blue Apron and a dozen or so similar sites will send you recipes, along with all the stuff to prepare them on a regular basis. You basically get everything you need to put the meal together aside from super basic shit like salt and pepper and oil. Blue Apron will run you $60 a week for three meals for two people (So six meals). Considering I average more than that a night for dinner, I feel like it's a decent choice. Here's what my first meal consisted of.
The spice packets and stuff come in a little baggie labeled "knick knacks". I don't know why this makes me so happy.
I'm gonna try the other recipes they sent me this week and receive at least one more delivery before really coming to a decision, but my initial impressions are very positive. The next couple of weeks have some pretty interesting meals too.
